At Oaken Grove Community Centre we rely on the support and dedication of our invaluable volunteers.
Whether you are a long-standing volunteer at Oaken Grove, or thinking about volunteering for this first time, please get in touch to find out how you can support the running of Oaken Grove Community Centre and in turn, the local community.
Volunteering Opportunities
- Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May – Scarecrow Festival Refreshments (Volunteers required to help run pop-up café serving hot drinks and snacks)
- We also need willing bakers to provide some cakes and cookies for both dates too
- Summer Celebration – Date TBC – we are looking for a team of volunteers who can help us with a Family Fun day this summer. Similar to our Christmas event but hopefully with some activities outside. Any thoughts or offers of help welcome!
- Saturday 12th July – Haxby Carnival – are you free to help set up, run or pack away our stall at the Carnival this summer?
