Changing Place Facility

We are delighted that the new Changing Place facility at Oaken Grove Community Centre has been completed and is available for use. The changing place is a fully equipped accessible toilet facility for individuals with a physical disability, with equipment such as hoists, curtains, adult-sized changing benches and space for carers. The changing place can be accessed by anyone with a Radar key, which can be obtained by asking staff either from Oaken Grove Community Centre or Haxby and Wigginton Explore Library.

The changing place was funded by a government grant which was secured by City of York Council.
